Insight is a business-to-business
publication that connects you with the people you need to know, the ideas and resources
you need to know about, to make the most of your business and enjoy working and
living in the New North.
In a class of its own, Insight gives you articles about people and businesses you
can’t wait to read, photos and story spreads you’ll want to savor. We aim to “raise
the bar” in our community of 1.2 million people spread far and wide throughout Northeast
Wisconsin. (No, we are not a national magazine, we just look like one!)
Why Insight?
Since the launch of the New North brand, people in Northeast Wisconsin have become
increasingly compelled to network with others throughout the region, to create new,
useful and potentially lucrative connections and to understand how they and their
businesses or organizations fit into the new community of the New North. Insight
offers the communications platform they’re looking for.
Insight magazine is mailed monthly to 16,500
business owners and top executives in all 18 counties of Northeast Wisconsin. Our
tagline: Connecting business and people in the New North.
Insight On Manufacturing is published quarterly
in March, June, September and December. It is mailed to 4,200 manufacturing professionals
and technology instructors throughout the region. Our tagline: Connecting companies
with skilled workers and educational resources in the New North.

Our content sets us apart. We plan original articles, insist on multiple sources
and cater to a broad readership. We maintain clear lines between journalism and
paid content. We don’t give you the same “news” you can find anywhere else. And
we strive for a lively, compelling, “insightful” tone.

One thing Insight is NOT: predictable. We put a college president on a motorcycle.
A port director in a bathtub. A banker’s arms around a cow. What will we do next?
We love to keep you guessing! But, seriously:
+ We invest in design, layout and photography
and partner with top talent. We care about quality in the details, right down to
the paper and the ink. Sizzle? We embrace it!

Our national award-winning editors have more experience in professional journalism
than any other business-to-business publication in the market.
+ Our regular contributors include former daily
newspaper editors, business writers and corporate communications professionals –
people who speak the language of business.
+ We were early believers in the mission of
New North, Inc. and as a result, have forged strong ties with key players in this
regional initiative. Our executive editor serves on the Branding Committee. In short:
We know people. They know – and trust – us.
+ We are independently owned and operated: Business
owners with a vested interest in the success of other businesses.
+ We partner with other businesses to make things
happen. Ask us about opportunities for creative win-win ideas!

At www.insightonbusiness.com, you can view the entire magazine with our exclusive
page-turning technology, powered by Nxtbook – with videos, podcasts and “hot” e-mails.
+ Every ad includes a “click-through” to the
advertiser’s homepage.
+ You can also get your message out in our monthly
e-newsletter.
WHO'S ALREADY IN?
Insight is young, yes. But we are also independent – open to fresh ideas – and thus
creative about how we can work together, today.
Experience and relationships matter. Several organizations have chosen to “stay
with” the professionals they’ve known and trusted. Insight is now producing the
following:
+ The official New North Report to the Community
and New North Mid-Year Report
+ The Fox Cities United Way Fundraising Campaign
Book (August)
+ The Brown County United Way Fundraising Campaign
Book (September)
+ The “Manufacturing All Stars” magazine for
the Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance.
Among other partnerships:
+ Exclusive coverage of the Nicolet National
Bank/New North Quarterly Business Pulse survey results.
+ The Wisconsin Women’s Leadership Expo, exclusive
media partnership with Insight.
As an advertiser, you need to consider why so many organizations
have made the switch to Insight.
